With or Without Stops?
Without Stops: These valves are the most commonly purchased valves for single family homes. They require you to turn off the water to the entire house before replacing them.
With Stops: These valves include an integral shutoff so that you may remove the valve in the future without shutting off water to the building. Valves with stops are generally reserved for installations in medium to large apartment complexes, and multi-story townhomes.
